I've been having intermittent problems syncing an iPhone 4 and iPad. Sometimes the sync will complete successfully, while at other times the sync fails. In all cases the iPhone is seen by the iPad, but the sync doesn't appear to start on the iPhone.
I've done a bit of troubleshooting, and what I've found is that the problem only occurs when WPA2 is enabled. Using WPA, WEP, or disabling security on the wireless network seems to solve the issue. Just as an additional troubleshooting step, I have installed the latest firmware for my router, but the problem still occurs.
Anyone else had sync problems when using WPA2? Just to clarify, I'm using a Linksys WRT160N wireless router.
It's also worth noting that when the sync fails (doesn't begin syncing on the iPhone), the cancel button on the iPad seems to have no affect. I have to close iCompta on the iPad to stop the sync process.

Re: Trouble syncing iPhone and iPad when using WPA2
Can you check if there are log messages on the iPhone or on the iPad ?
