iPhone OS 4.0

Post by parrishs »

Will icompta mobile work in iPhone 4.0 when it's released?

Will multi tasking allow me
to switch to safari (to view my bank statement) & keep icompta
open. Although a password is required, it can be a pain.
Perhaps it could autolock 5 minutes after it closes instead of
immediately. Then I could check my statement And quickly open
icompta without the need to enter the password again. But if I don't
switch back within 5 minutes, it is locked.

Any news on the email backup system?

I still think you need to change the UK & USA
name to 'imoney' or something. Icompta doesn't mean anything in English
so nobody searches for it.

Yes it should, there's no reason it wouldn't.

Sorry I don't know exactly how multi tasking will work exactly yet so wait & see.

Sure but that's hard to find a name which is not already taken by another app.

Yes I have noticed that the date is not the usual scroll wheel but a numerical input.

Whats more, when entering a new item, the amount has to be deleted. If you just type the amount, it appends the value after £0.00 rather than replace it.

I'm sure this will be corrected in the next update. Afterall, we aren't supposed to be running iOS4 yet.

As for the name of iCompta, I love it. My native language is Japanese. In many countries, iCompta does not mean anything but just a proper noun, that's it. Nobody claim why a city is called "London".
Moreover, there will be similar applications if the name has the English meaning, such as, "money", "account" and so on. It is easier to distinguish iCompta as iCompta we love from others.
