Make sure you have set the category as income otherwise it won't appear in the list when you click on the category button for the split.

Hi. I am trying to enter a transaction for some shares into an ICompta Investment account. The following is a list of entries into the transaction:

Total spent: 3000.15
Bought 1000 shares at 2.93 each for a total of 2930.0
Commission to broker: 48.35
Transfer Stamp: 15
Contract Levy: 0.80
Delivery Charge: 6

ICompta is computing the cost of each share at 3 and not 2.93 Euro. Can you tell me what I am doing wrong? Thanks.

You have to enter the total fee in the commission field in the right panel under the number of shares : 48.35 + 15 + 0.8 + 6

Should I enter the total(2930) under the 1000(total no of shares)?

Also,48.35, 15, 0.8 and 6 are all supposed to be deducted from the total. How can they be positive? I might not be understanding what you are telling me.

No just put 1000 in the shares field and then the total fee in the commission field just below which should be 48.35 + 15 + 0.8 + 6 = 70.15

I have seen an advert for pdfzone on the icompta 6 website. What is your view on this software and does it work on the Ipad and Iphone? Thanks
