Hello,
I have been using MoneyDance, but i like iCompta's interface and ios apps and am looking to switch. I got iCompta 4.0.11 today from the Mac AppStore.
I exported my transactions in QIF from Moneydance and tried importing them in iCompta.
But it didn't work. It merged everything into one big account.
- Is that a limitation of the QIF format or of iCompta?
- Anyway to import multiple accounts from moneydance to iCompta?
Thanks in advance,
Anil
(PS: I tried creating one QIF file per account and importing each file one by one, but there are a bunch of multi currency transfers between accounts and those are not imported properly. I can't use the "convert as transfer" feature because the amounts don't match under today's exchange rates)
import qif from moneydance
Re: import qif from moneydance
PS2: my bad, convert as transfer in fact works. But the conversion still has to be done manually, which is too time consuming...

Re: import qif from moneydance
You need to import account one by one, QIF format doesn't support multiple accounts, only OFX does.
