Dividends transactions

Post by c.a. »

I'm trying to create a new dividend transaction. That transaction has two parts (categories): gross dividend and taxes. First is an income and the second is an expense. The net amount is supposed to be: gross dividend (+) minus taxes (-). When you try to do so in the splits section, iCompta 6 converts the (-) of the taxes in (+), so, instead of obtaining the net result, it adds gross dividend plus taxes. Can you help me?

Thanks,

C.A.

This is bug indeed but the workaround is to setup the transaction without marking it as a "dividend" to be able to enter a negative amount and then mark it as a "dividend".

Please, don't forget this issue. It creates some problems in past transactions, even if the walk around is done.
