First impressions

Post by Marro »

Searching for a future replacement for Quicken (Windows platform) if and when I will fully switch to Mac, I came across iCompta. And I must say it is very promising.
I have only evaluated it for a few days, and came already to some "requirements":
1. the possibility to use sub-categories
2. the possibility to communicate with Dutch banks (ING i.e.)
3. when a transfer has been made between two accounts and the entry in one of them is deleted, the entry in the other account should be automatically deleted as well.

Read also that you are developping version 4. Any plans to integrate (any of) these features in this new version?

Martin

You should already be able to download your transactions on your bank site with the embedded web browser. See Online banking section of the user guide for more information.
