I started using iCompta beta version 6.0b5 (1103) and I have some doubts:
1. Is the app available in the App Store (version 3.1.17) compatible with this beta?
2. Can I safely use my data, after the database conversion, without risk of corrupting them?
3. What are the limitations of the beta version?
4. Is there a final release date expected?
P.S.: Sorry to be posting this subject here, but I did not find an English forum for the beta.

Yes, it creates a new database so you can use both versions in parallel.Aguilberto Junior wrote:2. Can I safely use my data, after the database conversion, without risk of corrupting them?
This is for testing so it can have bugs of course although only minor problems have been reported so far.Aguilberto Junior wrote:3. What are the limitations of the beta version?
Not yet.Aguilberto Junior wrote:4. Is there a final release date expected?

Re: iCompta 6 Beta questions
I sent you an invitation to test the iOS version as well. It will download a new app on your device so you can use both versions at the same time with no risk, just like with the macOS version.

Re: iCompta 6 Beta questions
In version 6b9 (1117) of iCompta it is possible to format the data entry of a transaction, choosing which fields will be presented for faster data entry.
Will it also implement the option to change the sequence of fields?
The option to use tags in a transaction will be available?

You have to click on the gear wheel in the top right corner of the transaction editing panel.Aguilberto Junior wrote:In version 6b9 (1117) of iCompta it is possible to format the data entry of a transaction, choosing which fields will be presented for faster data entry.

No there won't be a new tags field, you have to use existing fields instead.Aguilberto Junior wrote:The option to use tags in a transaction will be available?

It is not possible to change the sequence of fields, only the fields that will be displayed.Angeman wrote:Aguilberto Junior wrote:In version 6b9 (1117) of iCompta it is possible to format the data entry of a transaction, choosing which fields will be presented for faster data entry.

Yes you can't change the order I forgot to tell in my previous answer.
