Import from Grisbi

Post by mendoza »

Hi there,
I have been using Grisbi for years but was a bit frustrated by the UI since I switched to Mac. I am very interested in trying iCompta which seems to offer similar features, but I struggle to import account files from Grisbi. The date format for the QIF file generated by Grisbi seems to be dd/mm/yyyy but when I import in iCompta all transactions dates are in January (dates are dd/01/yyyy, note that the day and the year imported correctly).

here is the begining of the qif file I get from Grisbi:
!Type:Bank
D1/5/2006
T0.00
CX
POpening Balance
L[ING Direct]

D1/5/2006

T200.00

CX
T50.00
PING Direct
L[Natwest]

D31/5/2006

PING Direct

Thanks for your help! :)

Just use dd/MM/yyyy instead of dd/mm/yyyy and it should work fine.
