I am a new iCompta user - just starting out in the new year. I have a few basic questions that hopefully someone can help me with.
1/ I have imported my current bank transactions via the website (BofA) however my balance on iCompta is not taking reflecting the base amount in my account - it thinks that my starting balance was $0.00 so everything is off. How to I edit this? I can't possibly enter 20 years worth of transactions...
2/ I can't manually add new transactions - every time I type in the dollar amount (income), it automatically resets to $0.00 and I can't save anything.
I'd appreciate the help, thanks and happy new year

Just create an "Initial Balance" transaction and enter the difference with your real balance.dgregori wrote:1/ I have imported my current bank transactions via the website (BofA) however my balance on iCompta is not taking reflecting the base amount in my account - it thinks that my starting balance was $0.00 so everything is off. Can you make a screenshot of the list of currencies ?dgregori wrote:2/ I can't manually add new transactions - every time I type in the dollar amount (income), it automatically resets to $0.00 and I can't save anything.

Try not to put a comma when you type the number. If it's not that, can you show a screenshot of the list of currencies by selecting the "Currencies" line in the left menu ?

Ok nothing wrong there so it must be a problem with System Preferences > Language & Region. Can you make a new screenshot like this ?

Try to change the Region to "United States" and it should work.
