Purchased iCompta5 not like Demo

Post by romad »

OK, based on my use of the Demo version I purchased iCompta5 from the Mac App Store. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that the MAS version is inferior to the Demo version! The first thing I did was try to configure the Transactions pane to match the configuration I setup in the Demo version - it can't be done! The drop-down menu is totally different from the Demo making the purchased version useless as I can't display the columns I need.

This is the way I need it to be:

This is what the purchased version is and it is unusable:

There are two Transactions areas and items can't be moved between them.
The "Splits" item is missing in the Transactions area.

I need to be able to configure my column headings to look like this:
Column Headings

But I can't in the purchased version of iCompta5.

So for the next update please revert to the Demo way of configuring the layout; also please allow column heading names to be moved between the Splits and Transactions sections. I need to have the categories I assign to each transaction list under a "Category" column heading. If that is not possible, then please add a "Category" item to the Transactions section.
Sincerely,
Dennis

You have to check "Display transactions on a single line" box in the preferences window, just like you did with the demo version.

 Duh! I totally forgot about that and some how missed it when I went through the Preferences. Mea culpa.
