Auto-Saving File

Post by romad »

I have it set to automatically save every 10 minutes yet when I go to close iCompta I'm asked if I want to save the file EVEN though there have not been any changes since the last auto-save. Why is this? Is there a save setting I missed that is in addition to the one in Preferences>General?
Sincerely,
Dennis

If it asks to save then there must have been modifications since last auto-save. Perhaps it's some under-the-hood changes you didn't notice like change rates of currencies.

Ah, that makes sense. BTW, does the iCompta window have to be active for the auto-save to run? I usually minimize windows to the Dock when I'm not entering data.

No it doesn't have to be active, it's OK in the Dock.
