I have my categories and subcategories set up so that some are credit only and some are debit only. I presumed that this would mean that when I enter a new transaction, the amount field would default to either credit or debit depending on the category. However, this isn't the case. Every entry is a debit, so for all my credits, I have to change them manually.
Is this a bug, or am I missing something?

This works the opposite way. If you enter a positive / negative amount, it will only show credit / debit categories in the category field.
