But if the total is 0, then reports will show 0 expense? If the report only targets the credit card account and the splits filter is empty then yes. Also - shouldn’t Scheduler show planned transactions? Scheduler allow you to define repeating transactions. The occurrences of these repeating transac...

iCompta 2 on iOS is equivalent to iCompta 4 on macOS.

However if I simply change status of this planned transaction into created I will double the amounts in each category this month. No it doesn't double the amounts because you have your transaction which has a negative amount and then the transfer which has a positive amount and is marked as refund ...

Rules are never applied automatically (and never were), this is normal to avoid big unintentional mistakes.

Date is the date of the transaction, for example the date where you give someone a check whereas value date is the date where the transaction really occurs in your bank, for example the date when your check is debited from your account.

"Categorize" automatically sets the category based on the previous transaction with the same name whereas "Set category" lets you select the category to set.

You can change this date manually, or it can be set automatically when you open iCompta : there is a setting for this in the Preferences window.
