Re: Categories

What do you mean by "separate transactions" ? Can you give an example of what you would like to do ?

Re: iCompta import from Quicken PC

The single quote ' has to be put twice as it is considered as an escape character so you should try MM/dd''yy (beware : two single quotes ' and not one double quote ").

Re: import comma separated and set debit / credit

Forget what I just said, I found a much better way of handling this by adding an "amount sign" import field. This will be available in next release.

Re: import comma separated and set debit / credit

No it's not as the "D" or "C" information is lost when you arrive to the rules step that's why we have to do it before. Re: import comma separated and set debit / credit

I can make you an Automator task to run on your file before importing it, it would remove D's and C's and replace them with the signed amount. Would that be OK for you ? Because otherwise it would be very complicated to make it directly in iCompta without messing up the user interface.

Re: import comma separated and set debit / credit

Could you post or send me via email an example of your csv file (just a few lines should be enough) ? Thanks
I will add credit and debit import fields as an alternative to the signed amount field.

I have one but I keep it secret ;-)
Just kidding, I didn't have time to formalize it yet and put it online.

Re: Thankyou, question, request

Frequency will be customizable in a future release so you will be able to set 4 weeks.

Auto save is enabled and runs from time to time, obviously not enough in your case... sorry.
