Unfortunately Mission FCU has also dropped support for OFX Direct Connect so I don't know if it's possible but you should try to connect to their web site with Safari for example and download your transactions there.

You have to edit the comparative report settings and choose "Total" instead of "Expenses" (the default setting) in the "Compare" field.

Yes you have to create 2 transactions, it won't work with a single transaction.

Ok so you are probably looking at a splits report and the only way to do what you want is to right-click > close all as you said.

You can double click on your comparative report and check the "Show top level items only" box.
