something very strange happens with this rule Now when I download transactions - look - it categorizes everything like I defined in one rule instead of using all other rules

Would that be in transactions filter or in splits filter? And why, please
Please explain how it works so next time i wouldn't have to ask but will be able to just create the necessary filter/conditions

That was my understanding too
But I guess what I'm trying to understand is -- when creating reports you have transactions filter and then splits filter separately -- what is that for?
Is there any difference in putting category is X in transaction filter and category is X in splits filter?

I assigned a category to these transfers but expenses don't show...

Hi Angeman I'm trying to calculate the monthly averages of my categories in 2017 Splits report seems to be the right one for this purpose. Tell me if that's wrong, though However when I create a condition Date before 31/12/17 the report still shows the two months of 2018, which messes up the average...
