Re: ICompta V5....
I have tried, I really have! But to use the programme is causing me a lot of concern. Completing transactions is a real adventure and quite lengthy to complete. The layout of the page is looking OK, but when I tried to complete a series of scheduled payments, that really was an adventure. There is a...

Re: ICompta V5....
Angeman, thanks for that information. To carry out what you have suggested, I have uninstalled iCompta, several times this afternoon, because there were some strange responses coming up in the results for an imported .qif file. I eventually got it sorted and got it coming up in some semblance of ord...

Re: ICompta V5....
Angeman, Thanks for that. I am getting the hang off the programme, but have to say I am having all sorts of difficulty in carrying out simple manoeuvres. i.e. Having imported a .qif file from my other system it brought it in reasonably well, but seems to get things put in to the wrong pockets. In th...

Re: ICompta V5....
Angeman, the attached shot shows you the tick in the black circle which starts life as a grey circle with radiating lines on the outside diameter that appear to be revolving then stopping. There is a screen shot of that as well. When I click that static grey circle, the black one appears with the ti...

ICompta V5....
Following on from the problem with importing .qif files in V4, I have purchased V5, which, as was stated, has in fact imported the relevant .qif file. I think I have got it working OK, but am a wee bit concerned that when creating a new transaction, I noticed a star burst element bottom left of the ...

Re: Importing .qif file....
Angeman, thanks for that. That scuppers me from using V4 then. I will have to consider whether to purchase V5 or V6. 'Twas ever thus!!

Importing .qif file....
I am trying to use a copy of iCompta v 4.0.13 and in setting it up In created a number of accounts for Cheque, and credit cards. I then went to import a .qif file I exported from another Accounts Programme and ended up with a lemon. It doesn't recognise there are 4 accounts for the .qif file to be s...
