This seems to only appear when you have a filter in the entries.
With no filter, everything works fine.

Same bug appears if you try to change the category with the contextual menu.

When an entry has been used in conjonction with a category, if this category is then removed, all the entry will be removed from the list.
It's an unfortunate bug imho.
