Not a major problem, but wondering if this is caused by something changing in High Sierra or whether I need to troubleshoot my network.
It can be either reason, hard to tell which one is correct…

Re: Error while saving

2 other people have reported this to me on the French forum and I suggested them to try to delete the app and reinstall it (after keeping a copy of your accounts file of course). They didn't answer me yet so I don't know if it works.

Re: Mortgage

You need to change the status of planned transactions to created so that they won't be changed after when you modify the interests rate.

Re: Year-end backup/copy

You have to add a "The date is before XXX" condition in the transactions filter.

Re: Year-end backup/copy

You can easily filter data with a start date and an end date in the transactions list or in reports.

Re: Monthly income report doesn't load

Check the first transaction as well, it could year 217 instead of 2017 for example.
Otherwise you can send me your accounts file and I'll check what's wrong.

Re: Monthly income report doesn't load

Check that you don't have a transaction with a wrong year such as 20107 instead of 2017 for example. This can be the cause of such a freezing.
